List Of Psathyrella Species
This is a list of ''Psathyrella'' species. Many of its members were formerly classified in the genera ''Hypholoma'', ''Psilocybe'', and '' Stropharia''. Also some well-known species have been moved to new genera, for instance ''Psathyrella'' ''spadicea'' is now '' Homophron spadiceum''. '' Lacrymaria lacrymabunda'' has often been classified as a ''Psathyrella''. According to one 2008 estimate, the genus contains about 400 species. In 2020 many members of the family Psathyrellaceae were reclassified by the German mycologists Dieter Wächter & Andreas Melzer based on phylogenetic analysis. This study created the new genera Britzelmayria, Candolleomyces and Olotia and placed numerous former ''Psathyrella'' species within them.
