Charles III (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is King of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms. He was the longest-serving heir apparent and Prince of Wales and, at age 73, became the oldest person to accede to the British throne following the Death and state funeral of Elizabeth II, death of his mother, Elizabeth II, on 8 September 2022. Charles was born in Buckingham Palace during the reign of his maternal grandfather, King George VI, and was three when his mother ascended the throne in 1952, making him the heir apparent. Philip Edward "Brave" Davis (born 7 June 1951) is a Bahamian politician serving as the Prime Minister of the Bahamas since 2021. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Cat Island, Rum Cay & San Salvador since May 2002. Davis was Deputy Prime Minister to Perry Christie and Minister of Public Works and Urban Development from 2012 to 2017. He then served as Leader of the Opposition from May 2017 to September 2021, when he led the Progressive Liberal Party to victory and was subsequently sworn in as Prime Minister.
