Cubans ( es, Cubanos) are people born in Cuba and people with Cuban citizenship. Cuba is a multi-ethnic nation, home to people of different ethnic, religious and national backgrounds. Leonardo Morales Y Pedroso
Leonardo Morales y Pedroso (January 25, 1887– November 17, 1965) was one of the most prominent Cuban architect in Cuba in the first half 20th century. In 1900 he entered and attended pre-university studies at De Witt Clinton High of New York, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree. In 1909 he graduated of Bachelor in Architecture from Columbia University. After graduating, he returned to Cuba in 1909 where he worked a time in the local architect firm of Newton & Sola with the architect Thomas M. Newton, who was director of the civil construction section of the Secretary of Public Works during the 2nd American intervention in Cuba. In February 1910, he returned to the United States and obtained a Master's degree (Doctor) in Architecture from Columbia University in the State of New York. Nicolas Arroyo
Nicolás Arroyo Márquez (31 August 1917 in Havana, Cuba - 13 July 2008 in Washington, D.C.) was a Cuban architect, diplomat and minister. He was the last Cuban Ambassador to the United States in 1958 before Fidel Castro's rise to power. He had previously served in the government of Fulgencio Batista as the Minister of Public Works (1952–1958). Arroyo was the third of five children born to lawyer Nicholas Arroyo, and Hortensia Marquez. He received his architecture degree from the University of Havana in 1941 and practiced in Cuba until 1959, during which time he also served as Cuba's minister of public works. In December 1942, he married fellow architect Gabriela Menendez Garcia-Beltran (died 10 July 2008) and formed the architectural firm "Arroyo y Menendez." Nobel Vega (born August 21, 1930) better known as Tio Nobel (Uncle Nobel) is a Cuban actor and children's television personality. Vega is mostly remembered for his character as a boat captain who appeared on WKAQ-TV's "El Show del Tio Nobel" ("Uncle Nobel's Show"), a daily children's game show he hosted in which children played for prices, usually Mattel branded toys. His show competed with Spaniard Joaquin Monserrat, Pacheco's "Cine Recreo", shown on WAPA-TV, Telemundo Puerto Rico's rival television station.
