Lisa Buckwitz
Lisa-Marie Buckwitz (born 2 December 1994) is a German bobsledder. She won a gold medal in the two-woman event at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and also competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Career Buckwitz started off as a heptathlete. Buckwitz took up bobsleigh in 2013, and trains at the club. She won two junior championships. In 2015, Buckwitz and Cathleen Martini won the two-woman Bobsleigh World Cup event in Königssee. In 2016, Buckwitz and Stephanie Schneider won a bronze medal in the two-woman at the Bobsleigh European Championship, and came fourth in the two-woman event at the IBSF World Championships in Igls, Austria. In 2017, Buckwitz, Christopher Grotheer, Stephanie Schneider, Tina Hermann, Nico Walther and Philipp Wobeto won the silver medal in the mixed team event at the IBSF World Championships in Königssee. Heptathlon
A heptathlon is a track and field combined events contest made up of seven events. The name derives from the Greek επτά (hepta, meaning "seven") and ἄθλος (áthlos, or ἄθλον, áthlon, meaning "competition"). A competitor in a heptathlon is referred to as a heptathlete. Tina Hermann
Tina Hermann (born 5 March 1992) is a German skeleton racer and a four-time World champion. She began racing in 2007 and was selected to the national team in 2009. She is coached by Dirk Matschenz (personal) and Jens Müller (national); away from the track, she is a police officer. Notable results Hermann's first competition on the Europe Cup circuit was at Winterberg in the 2008–09 season, where she finished seventh. Hermann won the Junior World Championships in the 2009–10 season at St. Moritz, but did not record a victory on the Europe Cup until 2011–12 at Altenberg. The Olympic Sliding Centre Innsbruck is a venue for bobsleigh, luge and skeleton located in Igls, Austria (southeast of Innsbruck). Königssee
The Königssee is a natural lake in the extreme southeast Berchtesgadener Land district of the German state of Bavaria, near the Austrian border. Most of the lake is within the Berchtesgaden National Park.
