The Israel men's national basketball team ( he, נבחרת ישראל בכדורסל) represents Israel in international basketball tournaments. They are administered by the Israeli Basketball Association. Israel is currently ranked 33rd in the FIBA World Rankings. Israel has qualified for the EuroBasket 30 times throughout their history. They have also made two appearances at the World Cup, and one at the Summer Olympics. Israel also participated at the Asian Games from 1966 to 1974. Israeli Basketball State Cup
The Israeli Basketball State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה בכדורסל) is the second most important professional basketball competition in Israel, after the Israeli Super League. It is the national federation cup of Israel. The tournament began in the 1955–56 season, and is run by the Israel Basketball Association. In the 21–22 season, the tournament format was changed so that only the first 8 teams at the end of the first rotation of the Israeli Basketball Premier League will compete. Founded in 2021, they play as the reserve team of Panathinaikos in the Super League Greece 2.
