Lino Grech
Lino Grech (1930 – 2 December 2013) was a Maltese actor, writer and director. Born in Sliema, Grech was noted for his role on the television drama ''F'Bahar Wiehed'' (1970s), the first Maltese-language television series, which broadcast on TVM. Lino Grech died on the night of 1 December 2013, aged 83, at the Mater Dei Hospital in Msida Msida ( mt, L-Imsida, it, Misida) is a harbour town in the Central Region of Malta with a population of 7, 623 (2021). Sliema
Sliema ( mt, Tas-Sliema ) is a town located on the northeast coast of Malta in the Districts of Malta#Northern Harbour District, Northern Harbour District. It is a major residential and commercial area and a centre for shopping, bars, dining, and café life. It is also the most densely populated town on the island. Lining the coastline is a promenade known as the Sliema Front that has become the ideal spot for joggers and walkers as well as a prolific meeting place for locals during the summer season. Msida ( mt, L-Imsida, it, Misida) is a harbour town in the Central Region of Malta with a population of 7, 623 (2021). Location The town is located just west of Valletta on the northeast coast of Malta. The neighbouring towns of Msida are Ta' Xbiex, Gżira, San Ġwann, Birkirkara, Santa Venera, Ħamrun and Pietà. Msida is an important town for all travellers as many of the country's bus routes pass through it. Etymology The name Msida is said to originate from an Arabic word meaning "a fisherman's dwelling". Mater Dei Hospital (MDH; mt, Sptar Mater Dei), also known simply as '' Mater Dei'', is an acute general and teaching hospital in Msida, Malta. It was opened in 2007, replacing St. Luke's Hospital. It is a public hospital affiliated to the University of Malta, offering hospital services and specialist services.
