Linha De Sintra
Linha de Sintra is a railway line which connects the stations of Rossio and Sintra, in Portugal. The railway was one of the first to be planned in Portugal, and was opened on 2 April 1887. The southern terminus was changed from Alcântara-Terra to Rossio, after the station was inaugurated in June 1891. The duplication works were completed on 20 January 1949, and during the 1950s the line was electrified. New rolling stock was introduced in the 1990s. Rossio Railway Station
The Rossio Railway Station (; pt, Estação de Caminhos de Ferro do Rossio) is a railway station in Lisbon, Portugal, located in the Rossio square. The station was formerly known as ''Estação Central'' (Central Station) and that designation still appears in its façade. Trains gain access to the station, which is in the central urban area of Lisbon, through a tunnel which is over long. History The station was commissioned by the Portuguese Royal Railway Company and was designed between 1886 and 1887 by Portuguese architect José Luís Monteiro. It was built in one of the most important squares of Lisbon, the Rossio, and connected the city to the region of Sintra. Amadora
Amadora () is a municipality and urbanized city in the northwest of the Lisbon metropolitan area and 10 km from central Lisbon. The population in 2011 was 175,136, in an area of 23.78 km² (9.2 sq mi). It is the most densely populated municipality in Portugal. Buraca Halt
Buraca () is a former civil parish, located in the municipality of Amadora, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish of Águas Livres. As of the 2011 Census, it had a population of 15 892. It had an area of 1.66 square kilometers. The southern area of the parish included the first Decathlon store in Portugal, integrated in the main shopping areas of the Lisbon metropolitan area. Sete Rios Station ( pt, Estação Ferroviária de Sete Rios) is a railway station located in the city of Lisbon. It is served by the Sintra and Azambuja Lines, as well as the private operator Fertagus.
