Line 12 (Shenzhen Metro)
Line 12 of the Shenzhen Metro is one of the four new metro lines of Phase IV expansion in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. Its construction began in 2017 and it opened on 28 November 2022. The line uses six car type A trains and runs north to south on the east banks of the Pearl River Delta. Line 11 (Shenzhen Metro)
Shenzhen Metro Line 11 opened on 28 June 2016. Line 11 has a length of and a total of 19 stations. It connects the CBDs of Futian, Nanshan and Qianhai to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and onward to Fuyong, Shajing and Songgang suburban areas. It serves as both a commuter rail, regional express line from the west coast of Shenzhen to the city core area and an airport rail link. Compared with the other lines of Shenzhen Metro, Line 11 has a longer spacing between stops for a higher speed service. Line 6 (), also known as the Guangming line () of the Shenzhen Metro is in operation. Line 6 is part of the Phase III expansion of the Shenzhen Metro with a construction time frame scheduled for 2015–2019. The first phase of Line 6 has a length of and a total of 20 stations. It connects Songgang to Shenzhen North station. The southern extension has a length of and 7 stations, from Shenzhen North station to Science Museum station. Bao'an District () is one of the nine districts comprising the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong province. It is one of the districts formerly lying outside the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. History Bao'an was the historical name of Bao'an County (also known as Xin'an County) of the Qing dynasty, which included area of modern-day Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The area of today Bao'an District, was integrated into Shenzhen in 1979, which the Bao'an County was promoted as a city.
