Line 12 (Beijing Subway)
Line 12 of the Beijing Subway () is rapid transit line under construction in Beijing. The line is with 20 stations. It is fully underground. The line between Sijiqing and Dongfeng will be opened in 2023, due to planning adjustments east of Dongfeng. Stations Rolling stock The line will use 8-car Type A rolling stock. History Line 12's route has undergone substantial changes on the planners' drawing board. In the late 1990s, one draft of the subway plan showed Line 12 running from the Beijing South railway station to Huangcun. The Beijing South railway station was then built with subway platforms for only Lines 4 and 14. The old plan of Line 12 is cancelled now. A new plan of Line 12 was announced at January 2012. The Beijing Subway is the rapid transit system of Beijing Municipality that consists of 25 lines including 20 rapid transit lines, two airport rail links, one maglev line and 2 light rail lines, and 463 stations. The rail network extends across 12 urban and suburban districts of Beijing and into one district of Langfang in neighboring Hebei province. With 3.8484 billion trips delivered in 2018, an average of 10.544 million trips per day, the Beijing Subway is the world's busiest metro system. Beijing South Railway Station
Beijingnan (Beijing South) railway station () is a large railway station (mainly serving high speed trains) in Fengtai District, Beijing, about south of central Beijing, between the 2nd and 3rd ring roads. The station in its present form opened on 1 August 2008 and replaced the old Beijing South station, originally known as Majiapu railway station and later renamed Yongdingmen railway station, which stood 500 metres away. Haidian District () is a district of the municipality of Beijing. Chaoyang District, Beijing
Chaoyang District () is a core district of Beijing. It borders the districts of Shunyi to the northeast, Tongzhou to the east and southeast, Daxing to the south, Fengtai to the southwest, Dongcheng, Xicheng and Haidian to the west, and Changping to the northwest. 3rd Ring Road (Beijing)
The 3rd Ring Road () is a -long city ring road that encircles the city center of Beijing. When Beijing first became the capital of the People's Republic of China, the road existed only in segments encircling the northern, eastern, and southern parts of the city. At the time, its segments were known as Beihuan (North Ring), Donghuan (East Ring), and Nanhuan (South Ring), respectively. The 3rd Ring Road was finally finished in 1994 with the completion of the western segment. There are 52 flyovers, including Sanyuanqiao, which links it to the Airport Expressway. The speed limit is a uniform 80 km/h. The ring road runs through the busy CBD section in the east through Panjiayuan and Fenzhongsi, linking up with the Jingjintang Expressway. Line 10, Beijing Subway
Line 10 of the Beijing Subway () is the second loop line in Beijing's rapid transit network as well as the longest and most widely used line. The line is in length and runs entirely underground through Haidian, Chaoyang and Fengtai Districts, either directly underneath or just beyond the 3rd Ring Road. The Line 10 loop is situated between two and six kilometers outside the Line 2 loop, which circumnavigates Beijing's old Inner City.
