Lindsey Weaver
Lindsey Kathryn Weaver-Wright (born September 16, 1993) is an American professional golfer and LPGA Tour member. She shot a 59 during the 2012 Ping Junior Interclub match to become the second female golfer in history to do so, first being Annika Sörenstam. Early life and junior career Weaver was born in Waite Hill, Ohio. Her path to professional golf started at age two. Her father Craig, a runner who ran track at Otterbein University, used to carry her from shot to shot when she got tired of playing. Her family relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona when she was 11 so that she and her older sister Lauren, who later would play golf at Northwestern University, could play and practice year round. The same year she volunteered at the LPGA's Safeway Classic held in Arizona and met Annika Sörenstam and Brittany Lincicome, which served as inspiration. Charley Esmee Hull (born 20 March 1996) is an English professional golfer who has achieved success both on the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA Tour, winning honours as Rookie of the Year, becoming the youngest competitor to participate in the international Solheim Cup matches and becoming a champion on the European circuit in 2014 before the age of 18. In professional golf, the term qualifying school is used for the annual qualifying tournaments for leading golf tours such as the U.S.-based PGA and LPGA Tours and the European Tour. A fixed number of players in the event win membership of the tour for the following season, otherwise known as a "tour card", meaning that they can play in most of the tour's events without having to qualify. They join the leaders on the previous year's money list/order of merit and certain other exempt players as members of the tour. Getting through the qualifying school of an elite tour is very competitive and most professional golfers never achieve it. There can be up to four stages to negotiate, each of them like a regular golf tournament with only a small number of players going on to the next stage. Florida's Natural Charity Classic
The Florida's Natural Charity Classic is an annual golf tournament for professional women golfers on the Epson Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour. The event has been played at the Country Club of Winter Haven in Winter Haven, Florida since 2017. From 2014 to 2016, it was played at Lake Wales Country Club in Lake Wales, Florida since 2014. From 2009 to 2013, it was played at the Lake Region Yacht and Country Club in Winter Haven. The Mission Hills Country Club is a country club in the western United States, located in Rancho Mirage, California, southeast of Palm Springs. Cactus Tour
The Cactus Tour is an unofficial developmental golf tour, or mini-tour, for women golfers which operates in the American Southwest. It bills itself as "The Tour for Women Golf Professionals in the Western United States!". ''Golfweek'' termed it " an Arizona-based mini-tour for up-and-coming women’s professionals." NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships
The NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship, played in the month of May, is the annual competition in women's collegiate golf for individuals and teams from universities in Division I. Golf was one of twelve women's sports added to the NCAA championship program for the 1981-82 school year. From its inception through 2014, it was a stroke play team competition with an additional individual award. Beginning in 2015, after 72 holes of stroke play, the top eight teams play in single-elimination match play to determine the team champion. Alison Lee (born February 26, 1995) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and is a college student at the University of California, Los Angeles. She was ranked number 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 16 weeks in 2013–14. Amateur career Lee was an AJGA First-Team All-American for six years, from 2008 through 2013, with nine wins on the AJGA circuit. She was a member of the victorious USA Junior Solheim Cup team in 2009, 2011, and 2013 helping to lead the US to three straight victories and was a member of the Junior Ryder Cup team in 2010 and 2012 and the Curtis Cup team in 2014.
