Lindsey Roscoe (also Butterfield) is a fictional character from the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Sophie Austin. The character made her first on-screen appearance on 3 June 2013. Lindsey had been involved in storylines such as covering up the murder of Paul Browning (Joseph Thompson) with Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe), having to choose between two brothers, Joe Roscoe (Ayden Callaghan) and Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham), being revealed as the notorious Gloved Hand Killer, and teaming up with fellow serial killer Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle). Sophie Austin (born 5 January 1984) is an English actress who started her career out in theatre once she left drama school but later moved to screen. She is best known for portraying Lindsey Butterfield in the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', a role she held from June 2013 until her departure in May 2016. She is also known for portraying the wife of footballer Geoff Hurst, Judith, in ITV (TV network), ITV drama ''Tina and Bobby''. Mandip Kaur Gill (born 5 January 1988) is an English actress. Her first television role came in 2012 when she was cast as Phoebe McQueen in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. After departing the series in 2015, Gill went on to have guest roles in ''Cuckoo'', ''Doctors'', ''The Good Karma Hospital'' and ''Casualty''.
