Lindbergh Senior High School (Renton, Washington)
Lindbergh High School is a (senior) high school in the southeastern section of Renton, Washington, a suburb of Seattle, in the Renton School District. It is named after Charles A. Lindbergh, the famous aviator who was first to fly solo across the Atlantic in 1927. The school was founded in 1972. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors attended the first year, making the class of 1974 the first to graduate. Lindbergh's school motto is '' ad astra'', which is Latin for "to the stars". The crest features the Spirit of St. Louis (the plane that Charles Lindbergh flew), and the school's motto flanked by stars with the dates 1927 and 1972, respectively. It is the second-oldest and second-largest high school by area (while the largest by population) in the Kent School District. It primarily serves students in the northeastern region of the district. Nelsen Middle School
Nelsen Middle School, is located in Renton, Washington, USA, a suburb of Seattle, and is in Renton School District 403. It is a middle school that educates around 1,010 students in grades 6-8. In the past few years Nelsen has completed a major remodel with peaked roofs and a peaked entry arch complementing its original boxy building shapes. Key Club International, also called Key Club, is an international service organization for high school students. As a student-led organization, Key Club's goal is to encourage leadership through serving others.
