Linda Fruhvirtová
Linda Fruhvirtová (; born 1 May 2005) is a Czech professional tennis player. In February/March 2023, she achieved career-high WTA rankings of 50 in singles and 221 in doubles. She made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2020 Prague Open, where she was in receipt of a main-draw wildcard. She won her maiden WTA singles title at the 2022 Chennai Open. Early life and background Born on 1 May 2005 in the Czech Republic, Linda has a younger sister, Brenda (born 2007), who is also a tennis player. Linda and Brenda are recipients of Patrick Mouratoglou's foundation. Les Petits As (English: ''Little champions'') is a junior tennis tournament for players aged 12–14, held in Tarbes, France. The event has seen a number of its champions go on to become slam winners, including Rafael Nadal, Michael Chang, Martina Hingis, Kim Clijsters, and Jeļena Ostapenko . Due to the relatively restrictive age range, few players have won the title more than once, although Hingis and Timea Bacsinszky have both done so. Most recently, upcoming Spanish player Carlos Boluda became the first boy to do so. The tournament is played on indoor GreenSet (hard) courts. Roughly 7,000 players enter the pre-qualifying tournaments held across France, with that number being narrowed down to 350 for the final qualifying stage, and 64 for the final tournament. Magda Linette (born 12 February 1992) is a Polish professional tennis player. Having made her tour debut in 2009, she reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 33 in February 2020. Tara Shanice Moore (born 6 August 1992) is a Hong Kong-born British tennis player. She has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 145, which she achieved on 8 May 2017. She has won nine singles and 17 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Her best WTA doubles ranking is No. 77, which she reached on 11 July 2022. Emma Navarro (born May 18, 2001) is an American tennis player. Navarro has a career-high singles ranking by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) of 145, achieved on 22 August 2022. WTA 250
WTA 250 tournaments is a category of tennis tournaments in the Women's Tennis Association tour, implemented since the reorganization of the schedule in 2021. Earlier these events were classified as WTA International Tournaments. As of 2021, WTA 250 tournaments include events with prize money of approximately $250,000. The ranking points awarded to the winners of these tournaments are 280. This compares to 2,000 points for winning a Grand Slam tournament ("major"), up to 1,500 points for winning the WTA Finals, 1000 points for winning a WTA 1000 tournament, and 470 for winning a WTA 500 tournament. This system differs slightly from that used for the men's ATP Tour, which has ATP Tour 250 events with 250 points for the winner (similar to WTA 250 tournaments), and two higher tiers of ATP tournaments offer 1000 and 500 points for winning, respectively.
