Lincoln Fields Station (OC Transpo)
Lincoln Fields is a station on Ottawa's transitway located at Carling Avenue and the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. It is adjacent to the now-shuttered Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre. It is the main western hub of the transitway system and has a ticket sales and information office as well as a small convenience store. The transitway routes branch off in two directions: westward to Kanata and Stittsville, and southward to Barrhaven. The western branch of the transitway from this point is currently incomplete, forcing westbound routes to use existing streets such as Carling Avenue and the Queensway. The station has two distinct platform areas. One platform area serves main transitway routes 74 and 75 to Baseline station and Barrhaven, as well as routes 61, 62 and 63 to Bayshore station, and Kanata, along with numerous Connexion and peak period routes to the western and southwestern suburbs. Transitway (Ottawa)
The Transitway is a bus rapid transit (BRT) network operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It comprises a series of bus-only roadways and reserved lanes on city streets and highways. The dedicated busways ensure that buses and emergency vehicles on the Transitway rarely intersect directly with the regular traffic, and make it possible for them to continue at full speed even during rush hour. OC Transpo operates a network of rapid routes which use the Transitway to connect communities with the O-Train light rail system. Additional bus routes also use segments of the Transitway. The Transitway opened in 1983 with five stations. The network expanded greatly to include over fifty stations at its peak. Bayshore Station (Ottawa)
Bayshore is a station on the transitway in Ottawa, Ontario, served by OC Transpo buses. It is located in the western transitway section at the Bayshore Shopping Centre in the neighbourhood of Bayshore. Prior to its construction, buses used Woodridge Crescent and entered the shopping centre parking lot, which is prone to congestion and extensive delays. Due to no access to westbound Woodridge Crescent from Bayshore Drive northbound (except emergency vehicles), routes 11, 82, 57, and 173 have to travel around the shopping centre, on Richmond Road and Holly Acres Road, to enter the small bus-route access to the station. Eastbound trips of routes 11, 82, 57, and 173 travel on Woodridge Crescent eastbound, then on Bayshore Drive southbound, and then their regular route from Richmond Road onward. O-Train
The O-Train is a light metro transit system in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, operated by OC Transpo. The O-Train system has two lines, the electrically-operated Confederation Line (Line 1) and the diesel-operated Trillium Line (Line 2). Since May 2020, Stage 2 construction has temporarily shut down Line 2, with replacement bus service being offered at all stations. When Line 2 reopens in mid-2023, it will extend southward to Limebank station and incorporate five newly constructed stations, as well as an additional line ( Line 4) linking Line 2 to Ottawa International Airport which will replace the current bus service from route 97. North Gower () is a small village in eastern Ontario, originally part of North Gower Township, now part of the city of Ottawa. Surrounding communities include Richmond, Kemptville, Kars and Manotick. Manotick ( ) is a community in Rideau-Jock Ward in the rural south part of the City of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is a suburb of the city, located on the Rideau River, immediately south of the suburbs Barrhaven and Riverside South, about from downtown Ottawa. It was founded by Moss Kent Dickinson in 1864. Carp is a compact rural community in West Carleton-March Ward in the City of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, located in the northwestern portion of the municipality on the Carp River. Baseline Station
Baseline is a public transit station directly across from the main campus of Algonquin College in Ottawa's west end, near the intersection of Woodroffe Avenue and Baseline Road. Many Algonquin College students and Centrepointe residents use this station to get to various points in the city, and to and from the college. Several residential and business areas such as Centrepointe and College Square are also served by this station. It is also a major transfer point for communities in the inner southwest part of Ottawa, making it one of the busiest stations. A small park and ride is also located here, which was the terminus for route 95 for many years until it was extended to Barrhaven.
