Lina Marulanda
Lina Marulanda (15 May 1980 – 22 April 2010) was a Colombian television personality and model. Early life Marulanda was born Lina María Marulanda Cuartas in Medellín, Colombia. She began her modeling career at age 12. She first attended Santa María del Rosario de Medellín High School but moved to Parra Paris High School, from which she graduated, following conflicts with the directors and nuns at Santa María. Her adolescence was extremely busy with fashion shows and photo shoots; in a 2004 interview, Marulanda said she regretted having grown up this way. After completing high school, Marulanda enrolled in Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota, where she studied advertising. Career In 2002, she debuted as a presenter at CM& News. El Espectador
''El Espectador'' (meaning "The Spectator") is a newspaper with national circulation within Colombia, founded by Fidel Cano Gutiérrez on 22 March 1887 in Medellín and published since 1915 in Bogotá. It changed from a daily to a weekly edition in 2001, following a financial crisis, and became a daily again on 11 May 2008, a comeback which had been long rumoured, in tabloid format (28 x 39.5 cm). From 1997 to 2011 its main shareholder was Julio Mario Santo Domingo. It is the oldest newspaper in Colombia. ''SoHo'' is a Colombian-based men's magazine founded in 1999 by Isaac Lee and others. In addition to Colombia, it is distributed in Ecuador, Panama, Mexico, Argentina, Costa Rica and Peru. It is the second largest magazine by circulation in Colombia after '' TVyNovelas''. The magazine is known for its nude and partially nude cover photos of models, actresses, and women in Colombian public life, and like some other Latin American men's magazines, also for the contributions of notable writers and wide range of article topics. Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one's own death. Mental disorders (including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, anxiety disorders), physical disorders (such as chronic fatigue syndrome), and substance abuse (including alcoholism and the use of and withdrawal from benzodiazepines) are risk factors.
