Crown the Empire is an American metalcore band formed in 2010 in Dallas, Texas. They have released one EP and four studio albums. History Formation and ''Limitless'' EP (2010–2011) Crown the Empire was formed in May 2010, when "Brandon ooverand Austin decided to start jamming together" during their time at Colleyville Heritage High School. The initial line-up consisted of lead vocalist Andrew "Andy Leo" Rockhold (then Velasquez), rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist Hayden Tree, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Brandon Hoover, bassist Devin Detar, drummer Alex Massey and keyboardist Austin Duncan. The band's ultimate goal was to "be heavier than most bands in their area," while "bringing huge, poppy choruses to a genre that can become pretty stale." Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Electronicore (also known as synthcore or trancecore) is a fusion genre of metalcore with elements of various electronic music genres, often including trance, electronica, and dubstep. The Fallout (Crown The Empire Album)
''The Fallout'' is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Crown the Empire. It was released on November 19, 2012 through Rise Records and was produced by Joey Sturgis. It is the first album with new vocalist Dave Escamilla and the only album with founding keyboardist Austin Duncan, who left the band prior to the release. Background and recording Recording started in August 2012, when they entered the studio with Joey Sturgis. During the recording process, the band introduced Dave Escamilla as an official member and additional vocalist for the album. For the deluxe edition of the album, the band re-recorded their EP '' Limitless'' and intended to release it as part of the deluxe reissue of the album in 2013, the difference being that they have incorporated Escamilla's vocals into them. Denis Stoff
Denis Alexandrovich Shaforostov ( uk, Денис Олександрович Шафоростов; born 4 May 1992), also known by his stage name Denis Stoff, is a Ukrainian singer, best known for his work as a guitarist and singer of the Ukrainian metalcore group Make Me Famous. He also replaced Danny Worsnop as lead singer of the British rock band Asking Alexandria, during Worsnop's 18-month hiatus from the band. Shaforostov's music career began with his YouTube channel "above92", where he posted vocal and guitar covers of his favorite songs. He then formed the band Make Me Famous, before becoming involved with Asking Alexandria. He is currently the lead vocalist for the band Drag Me Out. Music career 2009–2010: Cat!Cow!MilkyWay!
