Lily Walsh
Lily Walsh is a fictional character from the CBS daytime soap opera, ''As the World Turns''. Most notably played by Martha Byrne from May 1985 to September 29, 1989 and again from April 1993 to April 22, 2008, the character was originated in June 1984 by Lucy Deakins. Heather Rattray stepped into the role from December 1989 to January 8, 1993. In the show's final two years, Lily was recast with Noelle Beck and she aired from May 8, 2008 after the much-publicized departure of Byrne until its final episode on September 17, 2010. Byrne is considered to be one of the most recognized faces of daytime television and is often called a "superstar" of soap opera history. Lucy Helyn Deakins (born December 18, 1971) is an American attorney and former actress best known for starring as Milly in ''The Boy Who Could Fly'' and originating the role of Lily Walsh on ''As the World Turns''. Biography Deakins was born in New York City, the daughter of Alice, a professor at Columbia University, and Roger, a professor at New York University. She graduated from Stuyvesant High School and enrolled in Harvard University in 1988. She graduated in 1994 with a degree in comparative religion. She took time off from acting to backpack across Europe. Jon Hensley (born August 26, 1965, in Browns Mills, New Jersey) is an American actor, singer and songwriter, best recognized for his portrayal of Holden Snyder on the CBS daytime soap opera ''As the World Turns'', a role he held from 1985 until the series finale on September 17, 2010. He later portrayed Dr. Meade on ''The Bold and the Beautiful'' from 2012 to 2013. Career Hensley's first television role was in 1985 on the daytime drama ''One Life to Live'' as Brody Price. The Circle Repertory Company, originally named the Circle Theater Company, was a theatre company in New York City that ran from 1969 to 1996. Luke Snyder
Luciano "Luke" Eduardo Snyder (born Grimaldi) is a fictional character from the American daytime drama ''As the World Turns''. Actor Van Hansis is most recognized for his portrayal of Luke from his debut in December 2005 until the series finale in September 2010. Luke was born to Lily Walsh and Damian Grimaldi, and was subsequently raised by Lily and Holden Snyder (see Holden Snyder and Lily Walsh).
