Lilian Prunet (born February 15, 1978) is a French former professional ice hockey defenceman. Prunet played in France's Ligue Magnus for Club des Sports de Megève, Hockey Club de Reims Hockey Club de Reims was an ice hockey team in Reims, France. The club existed from 1969-2002. They played in the Nationale B and Nationale C from their founding in 1969 until they were promoted to the Ligue Magnus in 1990. Megève (; frp, Megéva) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Southeastern France with a population of more than 3,000 residents. The France men's national ice hockey team has participated in the IIHF European Championships, the IIHF World Hockey Championships and the Olympic Games. The Ligue Magnus, currently known as Synerglace Ligue Magnus for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's division of the French ice hockey pyramid, established in 1906. The league operated under a variety of names before taking that of its championship trophy, the Magnus Cup, in 2004. The trophy was in turn named for Frenchman and IIHF founder Louis Magnus. Format 12 teams play a 44-game regular season. The schedule is fully balanced and there are no geographic conferences. Regulation wins are worth 3 points, as per international rules. The top 8 teams qualify for the Magnus Cup playoffs, with all series contested in a best-of-seven format.
