Emilie-Claire Barlow (born 6 June 1976) is a Canadian singer, arranger, record producer, and voice actress. She has released several albums on her label, Empress Music Group, and has voiced characters for animated television series. She performs in English, French, and Portuguese. Barlow's first album, ''Sings'', was released in 1998. She has received seven nominations for Canada's Juno Awards with her album '' Seule ce soir'' winning for best Jazz Vocal Recording in 2013 and '' Clear Day'' winning the same award in 2016. Kelly Jefferson is a Canadian jazz saxophonist (born March 4, 1970 in Regina, Saskatchewan), he has recorded and performed with numerous jazz musicians and bands. Jefferson has a Bachelor of Music degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and a Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, New York, New York (state), New York. He serves on the faculty of the University of Toronto as well as York University in Toronto, Ontario, and previously taught at McGill University. He has performed with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Ottawa's National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, The Chris Tarry Group, and many other jazz artists. Guido Basso, (born 27 September 1937) is a Canadian jazz musician who was a member of Rob McConnell's Boss Brass big band. He is a trumpeter, flugelhornist, arranger, composer and conductor. Life and career Basso was born in Montreal, Quebec, and he began playing the trumpet at the age of nine. He studied at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal. His professional music career started in his teens, and American singer Vic Damone included him on an international tour in 1957–58. In 1958, he joined singer Pearl Bailey and her husband, drummer Louis Bellson, touring North America with them and their orchestra until he moved to Toronto in 1960. There, Basso became a studio trumpeter and occasionally played harmonica. In 1963, he became music director for CBLT's ''Nightcap'', a job he held until 1967. Oscar Levant (December 27, 1906August 14, 1972) was an American concert pianist, composer, conductor, author, radio game show panelist, television talk show host, comedian and actor. He was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for recordings featuring his piano performances. Edward Heyman (March 14, 1907October 16, 1981) was an American lyricist and producer, best known for his lyrics to " Body and Soul," "When I Fall in Love," and " For Sentimental Reasons." Dorough became famous as the composer and performer of songs in the TV series ''Schoolhouse Rock!'', as well as for his work with Miles Davis, Blossom Dearie, and others.
