Liga IV Caraș-Severin
Liga IV Caraș-Severin is the regional Liga IV football division for clubs in Caraș-Severin County, România, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. It is organized by the County Football Association (Asociația Județeană de Fotbal) and is competed amongst 15 teams, the winner is promoted to Liga III after a promotion play-off. Also, the number of relegated team from the Liga IV – Caraș-Severin is variable and depends on the number of teams relegated from the Liga III. History In 1968, along with the territorial reorganization of the country, but also due to the large number of requests, Romanian Football Federation, FRF proposes a competitive system in which each county has its own football championship, which will activate the former teams in the regional championship as well as the racing and town championship teams from the previous edition. CS Gloria Reșița
Club Sportiv Gloria Reșița, commonly known as CS Gloria Reșița, or simply as Gloria Reșița, was a Romanian professional football club based in Reșița, Caraș-Severin County. The club was originally established in 1951 and was the second most powerful club of the city, after CSM Reșița. Gloria was dissolved in 2014, due to lack of financing. The "white and blues" have represented Govândari neighborhood of Reșița and had over time important rivalries with other local sides such as CSM Reșița or Muncitorul Reșița. The 1972–73 County Championship was the 31st season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association promoted to Divizia C without promotion play-off. The promotion play-off was not held this season, due to the expansion of Divizia C from next season, from twelve series with 14 teams to twelve series of 16 teams.
