Liga IV Bucharest
Liga IV Bucharest is the municipal association football, football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Bucharest, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 16 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series. History In 1968, along with the territorial reorganization of the country, but also due to the large number of requests, the Romanian Football Federation proposes a competitive system in which each county has its own football championship, which will activate the former teams in the regional championship as well as the racing and town championship teams from the previous edition. The 1969–70 County Championship was the 28th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a play-off to gain promotion to Divizia C. Victoria București
Victoria București was a Romanian football club, dissolved right after the Romanian Revolution of 1989. History The club was sponsored by the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs (the "Miliția", Police). In 1985 Victoria played for the first time in the Romanian top division, becoming very fast one of the most important teams, behind Steaua and Dinamo București. Between 1986 and 1989 they finished every year in 3rd place. However, it was a well-known fact during that time that many victories were due to unfair influences over the referees, other teams' players and even officials. This is why in 1990, right after the Revolution, the team was dissolved by the Romanian Football Federation and the club literally disappeared. The team was founded in 1949, in the neighborhood of Obor, being the branch of Dinamo București and promoted to Division B in 1953 under the name of Dinamo 6.
