Liga IV Arad is the county association football, football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Arad County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 12 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series. History In 1968, along with the territorial reorganization of the country, but also due to the large number of requests, the Romanian Football Federation proposes a competitive system in which each county has its own football championship, which will activate the former teams in the regional championship as well as the racing and town championship teams from the previous edition. CS Gloria Arad
Asociația Fotbal Club Gloria Arad, also known as AFC Gloria Arad, or simply as Gloria Arad is a Romanian football club based in Arad, Arad County, currently playing in the Liga VI. The club was originally founded in 1913 by Dr. E. Veliciuiu and the colors were from the beginning yellow and blue. After the World War II, the club struggled to survive and mainly played at the level of the third and fourth tiers, then in the middle of the 2000s promoted back in the Liga III, where it remained until in the early 2010s, under the ownership of Sandu Ion. Finally, the club went bankrupt in 2014, but was re-founded in the spring of 2021 by a group of persons who owned the brand of Gloria Arad. Originally founded in 1920 as Victoria Ineu, the club was better known as ''Tricotaje Ineu'' when it played in 2003–04 Divizia B and 2004–05 Divizia B, finishing in both seasons on 9th positions. Libertatea is a Romanian daily newspaper and online news website covering current affairs, entertainment, sports and lifestyle. CS Șoimii Lipova
Clubul Sportiv Șoimii Lipova, commonly known as CS Șoimii Lipova, or simply Șoimii Lipova, is a Romanian professional football club based in Lipova, Arad County. The team was founded in 1974 and played in the Divizia C for 14 years, between 1980 and 1994. The most important result was a 1st place in the 11th series, achieved at the end of the 1991–92 season. After 1994 Șoimii played only in the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and even withdrew from any competition in the spring of 2010. After two years of inactivity Șoimii enrolled in the sixth tier and started its ascension, promoting back to Liga III at the end of the 2016–17 season. CS Național Sebiș
Clubul Sportiv Național Sebiș, commonly known as Național Sebiș, is a Romanian football club based in Sebiș, Arad County, currently playing in the Liga V – Arad County, the fifth tier of the Romanian football league system. Founded in 1922 as ''Sebișana Sebiș'' and re-founded in 2004, Național played twelve consecutive seasons in Liga III, before withdrew due to financial problems, during the winter break of the 2019–20 season. Național Sebiș returned after a two-year hiatus, joining the Liga VI – Arad County, the sixth tier of the Romanian football league system. The team was formed around some experienced players and the rest young players from the Sebiș area and trained by the former players Flavius Raț and Leontin Sârb.
