Lifespan (film)
''Lifespan'' is a 1976 Dutch thriller film directed by Alexander Whitelaw and starring Hiram Keller, Tina Aumont and Klaus Kinski. Plot American Dr. Ben Land travels to Amsterdam to meet with Dr. Linden, an expert on aging who is supposedly close to a breakthrough. Unfortunately, Dr. Linden is discovered hanged and Ben is left with only baffling clues. He becomes intimate with Anna, who worked as a bondage model for the doctor. In an extended and controversial scene, the two engage in light shibari bondage of Anna, the first such instance of bondage in mainstream media. Later, Ben discovers that Anna knows more than she should about the mysterious 'Swiss man', Nicholas Ulrich. Sacco Van Der Made
Gerard Johannes "Sacco" van der Made (4 April 1918, Rotterdam – 21 December 1997, Rotterdam) was a Dutch actor. He provided the voice of Scrooge McDuck in the Dutch version in the television show ''DuckTales''. His last big TV role was that of Bert Jansen in the comedy show '' Het zonnetje in huis'', the Dutch version of ''Tom, Dick and Harriet ''Tom, Dick and Harriet'' is a British sitcom that was broadcast for two series from 1982 to 1983. It was created by the sitcom writing team of Johnnie Mortimer and Brian Cooke, and it starred veteran actor Lionel Jeffries in one of his few te ...''. His last role was that of Gerard Krol in the crime series '' Baantjer''. He died at the age of 79 and is buried at a general burial site in Nisse. Family His son, Guus van der Made, is a TV producer who has worked on ''Het zonnetje in huis''. His brother, Jan van der Made, was a writer and a member of the NSB. He died in 1981. Godalming
Godalming is a market town and civil parish in southwest Surrey, England, around southwest of central London. It is in the Borough of Waverley, at the confluence of the Rivers Wey and Ock. The civil parish covers and includes the settlements of Farncombe, Binscombe and Holloway Hill. Alphonse Marie "Fons" Rademakers (5 September 1920 – 22 February 2007) was a Dutch actor, film director, film producer and screenwriter. His 1960 film '' Makkers Staakt uw Wild Geraas'' was entered into the 11th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Bear Award. During a career spanning several decades he directed 11 films, including '' The Assault'', which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1986, and ''The Village on the River'', nominated for the same award in 1959. Making him both the first Dutch director to be nominated and win this award. He granted a wide-ranging interview to Radio Netherlands in 1987. He died in 2007 in a Geneva hospital of emphysema, after the life-support machines were switched off at his request.
