Richard Paul Reilly (born February 3, 1958) is an American sportswriter. Long known for being the "back page" columnist for ''Sports Illustrated'', Reilly moved to ESPN on June 1, 2008, where he was a featured columnist for ESPN.com and wrote the back page column for ESPN the Magazine. Reilly hosted ESPN's ''Homecoming with Rick Reilly'', an interview show, and he is a contributing essayist for ESPN ''SportsCenter'' and ABC Sports. Jack Hibberd
John Charles Hibberd (born 12 April 1940 in Warracknabeal, Victoria) is an Australian playwright and physician. Biography Hibberd studied medicine at the University of Melbourne and resided in Newman College. He worked as a registrar in the Department of Social Medicine at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, from 1966 to 1967. He worked as a general practitioner until 1984, then practised as a clinical immunologist. He is married to actress Evelyn Krape, with whom he has two children. He also has two children from his first marriage. Hibberd co-founded the Australian Performing Group (APG) in 1970. He was a member for ten years, and chairman for two. In 1983 he founded the Melbourne Writers Theatre, which is still active today. He served on the Theatre Board of The Australia Council twice, and recently on its Literature Board. Anthony Cronin
Anthony Gerard Richard Cronin (28 December 1923 – 27 December 2016) was an Irish poetry, Irish poet, arts activist, biographer, commentator, critic, editor and barrister. Early life and family Cronin was born in Enniscorthy, County Wexford on 28 December 1923. After obtaining a B.A. from the National University of Ireland, he entered the King's Inns and was later called to the Bar. Cronin was married to Thérèse Campbell, from whom he separated in the mid-1980s. She died in 1999. They had two daughters, Iseult and Sarah; Iseult was killed in a road accident in Spain. In his later years Cronin suffered from failing health, which prevented him from travelling abroad, thus limiting his dealings to local matters. Harvey Fergusson (January 28, 1890 – August 27, 1971) was an American writer. Life and career Fergusson was born and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His father was Harvey B. Fergusson, the attorney and Congressman. He attended his father's alma mater, Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, graduating in 1911. Soon after leaving college, he took a job as a staff reporter for the Washington, D.C. ''Herald''. After brief stints with newspapers in Savannah, Georgia and Richmond, Virginia, he returned to DC and joined the Washington bureau of the Chicago ''Record-Herald''. ''The Life of Riley'' is an American radio situation comedy series of the 1940s that was adapted into a 1949 feature film, a 1950s television series, and a 1958 comic book. Radio The radio program initially aired on the Blue Network (later known as ABC) from January 16, 1944, to July 8, 1945, it then moved to NBC, where it was broadcast from September 8, 1945, to June 29, 1951. Irving Brecher pitched the radio series for friend Groucho Marx under the title ''The Flotsam Family'', but the sponsor balked at what would have been essentially a straight head-of-household role for Marx. Jonathan George Brewer (born 30 January 1950) is an English documentary director and producer who was formerly a manager of rock music acts and artists. Early life Brewer was born in Eastbourne, England to Gansel and Eileen Brewer. They later moved to London where Jon was educated at Sutton Valence School for Boys. His father worked with Lloyd's of London as an insurance broker and his mother was a housewife who raised Jon and his siblings, David, Elizabeth, and Victoria.
