Plot A group of Amsterdam artists try to set up an erotic show in a Berlin nightclub. When the show flops, the group fades away into alcohol abuse and sexual excesses. The Virgin Mary manifests herself to the group and offers them happiness. Edwin Brienen
Edwin Brienen (born June 15, 1971 in Alkmaar, Netherlands) is a Dutch film director, actor, producer, journalist and radio moderator. In German press he's often called 'the Dutch Fassbinder' because of the high production-level and style of his films. He lives in Berlin, Germany. Biography After studying philosophy and psychology, Edwin Brienen embarked on a career as a radio host at the age of 22. His programs for Dutch broadcasting association VPRO attracted a nationwide following. On television he starred in the underground series ''Ultra Vista!''. For television he directed the shows ''Buch, Burgers & Buitenlui'' and ''Hoe Hoort het Eigenlijk?'' with Theo van Gogh. In 2001, he wrote, directed, and edited his debut feature film ''Terrorama!'', a dark story about a group of dispirited people who seek out 'psychological freedom' by committing an act of terror. Peter Kern (actor)
Peter Kern (13 February 1949 – 26 August 2015) was an Austrian actor, film director, screenwriter, and film producer, producer. He appeared in more than 70 films and directed a further 25. He starred in the 1978 film ''Flaming Hearts'', which was entered into the 28th Berlin International Film Festival. In 1980, he was a member of the jury at the 30th Berlin International Film Festival. Two of Kern's later films, ''Blutsfreundschaft'' (2008) and ''Mörderschwestern'' (2011), featured Helmut Berger in a starring role. His last film was ''The Last Summer of the Rich'' ("Der letzte Sommer der Reichen"), which screened at the Berlin Film Festival in 2015. Jean-Louis Costes
Jean-Louis Costes (born 13 May 1954) is a French noise musician, performance artist and film actor. Costes has been described as the French version of GG Allin, though unlike Allin's rudimentary brand of hardcore punk, Costes' music is largely synth-driven, relying heavily on looped beats, overmodulated vocals, and random outbursts of screaming and glitch fills. Career He was once married to Lisa Crystal Carver with whom he performed in Suckdog. He helped write the backing music for the "noise opera" music of the Suckdog Circus. His albums include '' Hung by the Dick'' from Nihilist Records.
