''Life Is Beautiful'' () is a 2022 South Korean musical, road film directed by Choi Kook-hee and starring Yum Jung-ah, Ryu Seung-ryong, Park Se-wan and Ong Seong-wu. It is a musical about Oh Se-yeon (Yum Jung-ah) who asks her husband to help her find her childhood sweetheart as her birthday gift. Both embark on journey to find him. The film had its premiere at 36th Fribourg International Film Festival on March 19, 2022, and was released in theaters on September 28 2022 in South Korea. Synopsis The film is a musical drama about a woman Oh Se Yeon (Yum Jung-ah), who makes a strange request to her husband as birthday gift. It is to find her first love from her school days. Her husband Kang Jin-bong (Ryu Seung-ryong) reluctantly joins her on this journey. The journey, full of life and music. Jeon Moo-song
Jeon Moo-song (born September 28, 1941) is a South Korean actor. Jeon began his career on stage in the play 'Chunhyangjeon' in 1964 and has since been active in Korean theatre, film and television. In 1977, he performed as the title character in ''Crown Prince Hamyeol'' (an adaptation of ''Hamlet'') at La MaMa in New York City, which marked the first time a Korean theatre troupe had traveled outside Korea. Jeon also won two trophies from the Grand Bell Awards for his portrayal of an eccentric monk in Im Kwon-taek's 1981 film ''Mandala''. The Blue Dragon Film Awards () is an annual awards ceremony that is presented by ''Sports Chosun'' (a sister brand of the ''Chosun Ilbo'') for excellence in film in South Korea. Wrap, as used in the phrase "That's a wrap" has been used by directors since the early days of the film industry to signal the end of filming. Since the 1920s, filmmakers have been using this phrase when principal photography is concluded and the film is ready to go into post-production. At that point, it is traditional to hold a wrap party for the cast and crew of the film. This marks the end of the actors' collaboration with each other, the director, producer, and crew on the film (except for possible dubbing or pick-ups).
