''Life Is Beautiful'' (Chinese: 初一的心愿) is a Singaporean Chinese drama produced by MediaCorp Channel 8. The drama is a collaboration between MediaCorp and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), which hopes to raise awareness of kidney-related diseases. A lensing ceremony was held on 30 June 2014. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8am the following day. It will be aired from 5 March 2015. The Series is repeated at 12pm to 2pm on Channel 8 on Sunday on 10 June 2018 to 12 August 2018. No new episodes were aired between 23 and 27 March 2015 during the period of National Mourning. Synopsis Shen Chuyi (Rui En) is a happy-go-lucky girl who, since she was a child, has seen how much her father has suffered from kidney dialysis. Thus, she has cultivated the good habit of eating healthily, and often reminds people around her to maintain a healthy diet. Rui En
Loh Rui En (born 29 January 1981), better known by her stage name Rui En (瑞恩), is a Singaporean actress and was named as one of the Seven Princesses of Mediacorp in 2006. She was under contract of MediaCorp and managed under Hype Records. Early life Rui En was born on 29 January 1981 to a family consisting of her father, a property agent, and mother, a housewife. Tracy Lee (, born Lee Mei Leng on 19 June 1985) is a Malaysian former actress and television host based in Singapore. She began work as a full-time actress at Mediacorp in 2008, following success as a contestant on Star Search 2007. Chen Tianwen
Chen Tianwen (born 28 March 1963) is a Singaporean actor. Career Chen was educated at the now-defunct Serangoon Garden Secondary Technical School. He joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now Mediacorp) after completing the 5th artiste drama training class and made his debut in 1984. He is contracted to Mediacorp, starring in many Chinese-language Singaporean dramas shown on MediaCorp Channel 8 since the 1990s.
