Life After Death Row
''Life After Death Row'' is a documentary on the musical career of the rapper Crooked I. The tell-all film was released on August 29, 2006, and illustrates the trials and tribulations Crooked I endured while under contract under the infamous Death Row Records. The film also takes the viewer on a journey with Crooked I building his own record label ''Dynasty Entertainment.'' The film contains many guest appearances from other musical figures who share similar views of Crooked I. Dominick Antron Wickliffe (born September 23, 1976), better known by his stage names Crooked I and Kxng Crooked, (stylised as KXNG Crooked and pronounced "King Crooked") is an American rapper from Long Beach, California. He is best known as a former member of the hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse with other members Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5'9". He is CEO of his own record labels, Dynasty Entertainment and C.O.B. Digital as well as Senior Vice President of Treacherous Records. Before starting his own label, he was also signed to Virgin Records and Death Row Records. Big C Style
The LBC Crew (Long Beach City Crew) were a hip-hop trio from Long Beach, California. They were the first act to be executively-produced by Snoop Dogg. During their time with Death Row, the LBC Crew recorded a previously unreleased album entitled ''Haven't U Heard...'' which remained unreleased until February 8, 2011 when it was released by WideAwake/Death Row. They had a hit single with the song "Beware Of My Crew", from the ''A Thin Line Between Love and Hate'' soundtrack album, which was originally intended to be for their debut album. They played on Snoop Dogg's second album ''Tha Doggfather''. The group disbanded following the collapse of Death Row. Since then, unreleased material from the group emerged on the underground. Mitchell Charles Johnson (born October 2, 1969) better known by his stage name Paperboy, is an American rapper. He is best known for his single " Ditty" which charted at #10 on the Hot 100 in 1993. Johnson was born in San Diego, California and later moved to Oakland. Career Paperboy's associated acts were R. Kelly, Eazy-E, and Rhythm D. His most acclaimed album was his 1992 debut, ''The Nine Yards'', which was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Curtis Williams (born January 19, 1976), more commonly known as Spider Loc, is an American rapper and actor. He was formerly signed to Interscope Records and 50 Cent's G-Unit Records.
