Jerry Solomon Kupcinet (November 1, 1944 – January 20, 2019) was a Daytime Emmy Award winning director and producer. Early life Kupcinet is the son of newspaper columnist Irv Kupcinet and Esther Kupcinet (née Solomon). He is the younger brother of Karyn Kupcinet, an actress who was found murdered in her West Hollywood, California apartment in November 1963; her murder was never solved. John Ritter
Johnathan Southworth Ritter (September 17, 1948 – September 11, 2003) was an American actor. Ritter was a son of the singing cowboy star Tex Ritter and the father of actors Jason and Tyler Ritter. He is known for playing Jack Tripper on the ABC sitcom ''Three's Company'' (1977–1984), and received a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for the role in 1984. Ritter briefly reprised the role on the spin-off ''Three's a Crowd'', which aired for one season, producing 22 episodes before its cancellation in 1985. Stephen Valentine Patrick William Allen (December 26, 1921 – October 30, 2000) was an American television personality, radio personality, musician, composer, actor, comedian, and writer. Alan Landsburg Productions (ALP) was an independent television production company founded by Alan Landsburg in 1971. The company had produced '' In Search of...'' and ''That's Incredible!'', two early examples of reality television decades before it became a confirmed genre. The company also found success in television movies (the Emmy-winning Mickey Rooney film ''Bill''), and scripted shows (the sitcoms ''Gimme a Break!'' and ''Kate and Allie''). Thomas William Shales (born November 3, 1944) is an American writer and retired critic of television programming and operations. He was a television critic for ''The Washington Post'' from 1977 to 2010, for which Shales received the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 1988. ''That's Incredible!'' is an American reality television show that aired on the American Broadcasting Company, ABC television network from 1980 in television, 1980 to 1984 in television, 1984. In the tradition of ''You Asked for It'', ''List of Ripley's Believe It or Not! TV series, Ripley's Believe It or Not!'' and ''Real People'', the show featured people performing stunts and reenactments of allegedly paranormal events. The show also often featured people with unusual talents, such as speed-talker John Moschitta, Jr., who made his first national television appearance on the show, as well as scientific, medical, and technological breakthroughs such as the Taser and cryogenic corneal reshaping by lathe keratomileusis. Roy Firestone (born December 8, 1953) is an American sports commentator and journalist. Firestone is a graduate of Miami Beach High School and the University of Miami. Television career Firestone began his career as a sports anchor and reporter in Miami, working briefly at WTVJ, before moving to Los Angeles as a sports anchor for KNXT/KCBS-TV from 1977 to 1985.
