Lieven Scheire
Lieven Scheire (born 3 May 1981) is a Belgian comedian, mainly known for being a member of Neveneffecten. Career Scheire attended secondary school at the Sint-Lodewijkscollege in Lokeren; he then began a physics degree at Ghent University, but dropped out to become a stand-up comedian. He won the Lunatic Stand-up Comedy Award in 2002. Scheire also did a year long stint as an exchange student in Reykjavík, Iceland where he attended Fjölbrautarskólinn í Breiðholti Neveneffecten (founded by him and his cousin Jonas Geirnaert) won the jury prize at the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival in 2003. Since then they have been touring Flanders and The Netherlands with their comedy theatre show and making various sketch shows for Flemish television. Wachtebeke
Wachtebeke () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the town of Wachtebeke proper, and a smaller town: Overslag. In 2021, Wachtebeke had a total population of 7.769. The total area is 34.53 km2. The current mayor of Wachtebeke (as of 2012) is Rudy van Cronenburg. The Langelede is a small canal and corresponding residential street in the town. A team is a group of individuals (human or non-human) working together to achieve their goal. As defined by Professor Leigh Thompson of the Kellogg School of Management, " team is a group of people who are interdependent with respect to information, resources, knowledge and skills and who seek to combine their efforts to achieve a common goal". Basta (TV Show)
''Basta'' was a Flemish television show aired in January and February 2011 on the Belgian channel Eén. The show was hosted by Neveneffecten and produced by Woestijnvis. It was a mix between comedy, current affairs and crime. The show tried to give some of one's own medicine. Although the show was a blockbuster, a second season was not made as Neveneffecten thought their approach would most probably not work anymore as they became famous. Subjects Recharge money from bank In 2008 many Belgian banks got money from the government following the financial crisis of 2007–2008. This was however paid with tax money. ''Basta'' contacted all those banks and requested if they could recharge their money, which was estimated at 250 euros for each Belgian inhabitant. No bank did pay them, so ''Basta'' decided to take another approach: they stole staplers, hole punchers etc. from the desks.
