Carl Christian Vilhelm Liebe (30 November 1820 – 24 August 1900) was a Danish politician representing first the National Liberal Party and later the conservative Højre, lawyer and speaker of the Landsting, a chamber of the parliament. He was an elected member of the Folketing from 1861 to 1866, and a royally appointed member of the Landsting from 1866 to 1895. Friederich Wilhelm Gustav Liebe (18 January 1862 – 4 March 1950) was a building contractor and farmer in Western Australia. Early life Liebe was born on 18 January 1862 in Wittenberg, Prussia, to father Edward Liebe. When he was 15, he left school to become a builder's apprentice. Following the completion of his apprenticeship, he moved to Vienna and attended a technical school where he studied building. Liebe helped to construct the Budapest Opera House, before joining a partnership with his brother-in-law Joseph Klein. They worked on Bulgaria's National Assembly Building, and constructed military barracks, colleges, and a bridge. Australian builder Liebe and Klein moved to Adelaide, South Australia in 1885, and later to Melbourne after their work was noticed by Melbourne-based architects. Karl Theodor Leopold Liebe (11 February 1828 - 5 June 1894) was a German geologist and ornithologist. A pioneer in bird conservation, he established the first bird protection agency in Germany. Liebe was born in Neustadt an der Orla. His father was a clergyman while his grandfather was an eye specialist. His mother was the daughter of a physician. Carl Julius Otto Liebe (24 May 1860 – 21 March 1929) was a Danish jurist who served as Prime Minister of Denmark from 30 March 1920 to 5 April 1920. Liebe was appointed prime minister after King Christian X had dismissed Carl Theodor Zahle and his cabinet because of dissatisfaction with the amount of land ceded to Denmark in the Schleswig Plebiscite. This use of power by the king, which was based in the Danish constitution, led to the Easter Crisis of 1920, and Otto Liebe was replaced by Michael Pedersen Friis after 5 days.
