"Lick Shots" is a buzz single by American recording artist Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott from her third album, '' Miss E... So Addictive'' (2001). The song was written and produced by both Elliott and frequent collaborator Timbaland. Although it was never intended to be released as an actual album single, the song was instead released as a buzz single to generate further attention for Elliott's third album. The song was released promotionally two weeks prior to the release of Elliott's third album and charted moderately on ''Billboard'' Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks.
