Liceum Ogólnokształcące
A general education liceum (Polish: ''Liceum ogólnokształcące'' ) is an academic high school in the Education in Poland, Polish educational system. They are attended by those who plan to further their academic education upon graduation from Education in Poland, szkoła podstawowa (compulsory education) through a path other than Technikum (Polish education), Technikum or Vocational school (since it's impossible for one to be at the age of 18 or more upon graduation from Education in Poland, szkola podstawowa, thus education is still mandatory for them one has to pick one of the three). Before graduating from liceum, students take a final exam called a "matura" (equivalent to the A-Level). It's a tradition for students of graduating grades and school staff to host and attend a prom called "studniówka" about a 100 days before the exams. High School

Technikum (Polish Education)
Technikum is an institute of vocational education in some parts of Europe. It is a mass-education institution of "special middle education" category 1 step higher than PTU, but aimed to train low and middle level (depending on profile) industrial managers, foremen, coordinators, technical supervisors etc. or specializing in occupations that require skills more advanced than purely manual labor, especially in high-tech occupations (such as electronics). Studniówka () is a traditional ball for final grade high school ('' liceum'' or '' technikum'') students (i.e. aged 18–20) in Poland, analogous to senior prom in the United States.
