Liberty Way
Liberty Way is a multi-use sports stadium in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England, which is leased by Nuneaton Town F.C. but is also used by Nuneaton R.F.C., which rents the stadium from the football club. Liberty Way has been used by the rugby club since the 1990s; however, it was a mere pitch with a perimeter fence and nothing like the facilities of the current complex. The current stadium is made up of 4 stands. Opening Nuneaton Borough moved into the stadium prior to the start of the 2007–08 season, and their first match at the stadium was played on Tuesday 17 July 2007, when local rivals Coventry City visited for a 2–2 draw. The first ever goal at the stadium was scored by a Brazilian trialist playing for Coventry City, whilst the first Boro player to score was defender Gavin Cowan. BAFL
The British American Football League (BAFL) was the United Kingdom's primary American football league from 1998 until 2010. It was formerly known as the British Senior League (BSL) until 2005. BAFL was the trading name for Gridiron Football League Ltd incorporated as a Company limited by guarantee. Registration number: 2353839. The company went into administration on 1 April 2010, and the company ceased to trade as from this date. Coombe Abbey
Coombe Abbey is a hotel which has been developed from a historic grade I listed building and former country house. It is located at Combe Fields in the Borough of Rugby, roughly midway between Coventry and Brinklow in the countryside of Warwickshire, England. The house's original grounds are now a country park known as Coombe Country Park and run by Coventry City Council. Early history as an abbey During the 12th century, the building was known as the Abbey of Cumbe, and was the largest and most influential monastery in Warwickshire. The land was given to the Cistercian monks by Richard de Camville, of Didleton Castle. They accepted the gift, and sent out an advance party of monks, who, living in temporary wooden buildings, began the building of a monastery dedicated to the Blessed Virgin.
