Liberty High School (Ohio)
Liberty High School is a public high school in Liberty Township, just north of Youngstown, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Liberty Local School District. Athletics Liberty High School has won state championships in the following sports: * Boys cross country – 1975 * Girls track and field – 1978 WLHS-TV3 WLHS-TV3 was the closed circuit television station that broadcast throughout the high school. Regular shows included the "Morning Update" and the "Afternoon Update". WLHS also broadcast full coverage of special events such as pep rallies, student voting and fundraisers. WLHS-TV3 was created and built by student Dave Malkoff in 1993. The station was funded by a grant from the Liberty Local School District. Transmission was provided by utilizing equipment installed by Whittle Communications for their " Channel One" program. Jimmy Weller III
Jimmy Weller III (born November 20, 1985) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He has driven in various levels of racing, including the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Racing career Early years Weller started his racing career in big-block modifieds near his family's steel business in Ohio. He returned to big-blocks in 2016 at Sharon Speedway and Lernerville Speedway after sponsorship issues in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Weller was critically injured in a 2004 sprint car accident at the Charlotte Motor Speedway dirt track. He was in the ICU for three weeks, two of them in a coma. His family credits the quick work of a local paramedic to save Weller's life after he flipped and got tangled in the catchfence. Fitzgerald Toussaint
Fitzgerald D'Andre Toussaint (born May 4, 1990) is a former American football running back. He played college football at Michigan and signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He has also been a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers for a good portion of his 4 year NFL career. He spent 2 years on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Early years Toussaint grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, to a Haitian father and to an African American mother. He graduated from Liberty High School, where as a senior in 2008, he rushed for 2,229 yards (10.4 per carry) and 28 touchdowns and was named Ohio's co-offensive player of the year in Division III. The Weather Channel (TWC) is an American pay television channel owned by Weather Group, LLC, a subsidiary of Allen Media Group. The channel's headquarters are in Atlanta, Georgia. Bradley Fletcher (born June 25, 1986) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL) in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft. O.A.R. (short for Of A Revolution) is an American rock band, founded in 1996 in Rockville, Maryland. The band consists of lead vocalist/guitarist Marc Roberge, drummer Chris Culos, guitarist Richard On, bassist Benj Gershman, saxophonist/guitarist Jerry DePizzo, and touring members, trumpet player Jon Lampley and keyboardist Mikel Paris. Together, the band has released ten studio albums. Amy Leigh Acton (née Stearns; ) is an American physician and public-health researcher who served as the director of the Ohio Department of Health from 2019–2020.
