Liberal Progressive Party (Costa Rica, 2016)
The Liberal Progressive Party () is a classical-liberal political party in Costa Rica. It was founded on February 27, 2016, and participated in the 2018 parliamentary election for deputies in the provinces of San José, Alajuela, Heredia and Puntarenas, without obtaining seats in the Legislative Assembly. The PLP is chaired by the former Transport Vice-minister during the Rodríguez Echeverría administration, Eliécer Feinzaig. 2022 Costa Rican General Election
General elections were held in Costa Rica on 6 February 2022, to elect the president, two vice-presidents, and all 57 deputies of the Legislative Assembly. Same-sex marriage in Costa Rica has been legal since May 26, 2020 as a result of a ruling by the Supreme Court of Justice. Costa Rica was the first country in Central America to recognize and perform same-sex marriages. In vitro fertilisation (IVF) is a process of fertilisation where an egg is combined with sperm in vitro ("in glass"). The process involves monitoring and stimulating an individual's ovulatory process, removing an ovum or ova (egg or eggs) from their ovaries and letting sperm fertilise them in a culture medium in a laboratory.
