Liaoning Zhongda Aluminium Flying Eagles () is a Chinese professional women's basketball club in Liaoning, playing in the Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA). Liaoning Zhongda Aluminum Co. has been the team's corporate sponsor since 2015. From 2005 to 2015, the team was known as Liaoning Hengye Golden Leopards and sponsored by Liaoning Hengye Group. Before 2005 it was known as Liaoning Big Dipper (). The Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) is the first-tier professional women's basketball league in China. Kara Liana Braxton (born February 18, 1983) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Early life Kara and her twin sister Kim grew up in a household with four other siblings in Jackson, Michigan. Her father also played basketball. She played her freshman season at Jackson High and then moved to Oregon. She and her twin sister later enrolled at Westview High School, in the Portland suburb of Beaverton. Tangela Nicole Smith (born April 1, 1977) is a retired American basketball player in the WNBA. Smith played the bulk of her career for the Sacramento Monarchs and the Phoenix Mercury where she won two WNBA Championships. She's currently an assistant coach at Northwestern University. Janell Burse
Janell Latrice Burse (born May 19, 1979) is a 6'5" women's basketball player who played center for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA. After playing college ball at Tulane University, Burse was drafted in the second round (28th overall) by the Minnesota Lynx in 2001, and played her first three professional seasons with that team. As part of an ill-fated attempt by the Lynx to land hometown sensation Lindsay Whalen in the 2004 WNBA Draft, Burse was traded with Sheri Sam to the Storm for Amanda Lassiter and a high draft pick. Whalen was snatched up by the Connecticut Sun, and Seattle gained two key players for its 2004 championship run. Burse backed up center Kamila Vodichkova in 2004, and took over the starting role when Vodichkova left for the Phoenix Mercury the next season. Larissa Anderson (née ''Cavanagh''; born 27 March 1977) is a former Australian professional basketball player. She currently is an assistant coach for the Melbourne Boomers in the WNBL. Career WNBL Anderson grew up in Victoria and played for the Nunawading Spectres before joining the Dandenong Rangers WNBL team in 1995. Anderson had a strong career through until 2008 playing for Brisbane, Bulleen & again Dandenong. After seven years away from the WNBL and coaching success in the SEABL, Anderson has returned to the WNBL and to Dandenong as the head coach of the team for the 2015–16 season. She won the WNBL Coach of the Month award twice in her first season.
