Liam Coen
Liam Coen (born November 8, 1985) is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the University of Kentucky. He had also served in that role in the 2021 season. Coen was the offensive coordinator in 2022 for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). Before that, Coen served as an assistant coach at the University of Maine, UMass, University of Rhode Island, and Brown University. Early life and playing career Born in Warwick, Rhode Island and raised in Newport, Rhode Island, Coen played for his father, Tim, at La Salle Academy in Providence where he was named Rhode Island's Gatorade Player of the Year. Coen also played quarterback at UMass from 2004 to 2008 where he was a four-year starter, wearing the jersey number 12 in honor of his favorite athlete, Tom Brady; he was roommates with former NFL wide receiver Victor Cruz. Offensive Coordinator
An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling. Several position coaches work under the offensive coordinator (position groupings can include quarterbacks, wide receivers, offensive line, running backs, and tight ends). Unlike most position coaches in football, who are usually on the sidelines during games, offensive coordinators have the option of operating from the press box instead of being on the sideline. Victor Cruz (American Football)
Victor Michael Cruz (born November 11, 1986) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at UMass, and signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2010. With the Giants, he won Super Bowl XLVI over the New England Patriots, and made the 2012 Pro Bowl. Early years Cruz was born in Paterson, New Jersey, on November 11, 1986 to Blanca Cruz and Michael Walker, a firefighter. His father was African American and his mother is Puerto Rican. Cruz's father died by suicide in 2007. Cruz attended Paterson Catholic High School in Paterson. He completed a post-graduate semester at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, Maine. Cruz put up 47 catches for 869 yards and eight touchdowns in his single season at Bridgton Academy. Kevin William O'Connell (born May 25, 1985), nicknamed "KOC", is an American football coach and former player who is the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). O'Connell played quarterback at San Diego State University, and was selected by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
