Liaden Universe
The Liaden universe ( or ) is the setting for an ongoing series of science fiction stories written by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller. The series covers a considerable time period, some thousands of years in all, although since it also covers more than one universe the exact chronology is unclear. However the main timeline extends across only a few generations. The central stories primarily concern Clan Korval, a leading house in Liaden society. The stories are primarily in the genre of space opera, with heavy doses of romance, intrigue, and wizardry. As of May 2022 the series comprises 24 novels and 33 chapbooks (the stories within them now available as ebooks or in collections). Overview The series is set at some unspecified time in the future. Rusty Hevelin
James LeRoy "Rusty" Hevelin (February 16, 1922 – December 27, 2011) was a science fiction fan, fanzine publisher, collector and huckster. Career Hevelin was an active member of the science fiction community from the early 1940s, publishing his own fanzines such as ''H-1661'', as well as contributing to many others. He had been Fan Guest of Honor and Toastmaster at so many science fiction conventions that everyone (including Hevelin) lost count. He was the Fan Guest of Honor at the 1981 Worldcon, Denvention Two (he had attended Denvention One in 1941). He was particularly likely to participate in panel discussions on the history of fandom and fanzines, and in panels of the form, "So: This Is Your First Convention? Here's What To Expect." Series Of Books
A book series is a sequence of books having certain characteristics in common that are formally identified together as a group.
