Leysya, Pesnya (russian: Лейся, песня, literally "Flow, song") was a Soviet Vocal and instrumental ensemble active during the 1970s and 1980s. It was founded in 1975 by Valery Seleznev in the city of Kemerovo. Kemerovo ( rus, Ке́мерово, p=ˈkʲemʲɪrəvə) is an industrial city and the administrative center of Kemerovo Oblast, Russia, located at the confluence of the Iskitimka and Tom Rivers, in the major coal mining region of the Kuznetsk Basin. Mikhail Zakharovich Shufutinsky (russian: Михаи́л Заха́рович Шуфути́нский; born 13 April 1948) is a Russian pop singer. He was once a citizen of the United States from 1990 to 2003, but now lives in Russia. He is currently the pre-eminent singer of Russian chanson music. He was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist of Russia in 2013. Biography Shufutinsky was born on 13 April 1948 in Moscow.
