Lexos Station
Lexos is a railway station in Varen, Tarn-et-Garonne, Occitanie, France. It is on the Brive-Toulouse (via Capdenac) line and is served by TER (local) services operated by SNCF. A former Montauban branch line also terminated here. It was opened in 1858 by the Compagnie du chemin de fer de Paris à Orléans. Its imposing passenger terminal building was classified as a Monument historique in 2007. History The station at Lexos was opened on 30 August 1858 by the Compagnie du chemin de fer de Paris à Orléans (CFPO), when it inaugurated the Montauban to Capdenac line, which it took over on 11 April 1857 while it was still under construction following the failure of the :fr:Compagnie du chemin de fer Grand-Central de France. The station is on the north bank of the Aveyron. The imposing neo-18th C station was built in several phases between 1858 and its completion in 1883. Capdenac is a railway station in Capdenac-Gare, Occitanie, France. The station opened in 1858 and is on the Brive–Toulouse (via Capdenac), Capdenac–Rodez and Cahors–Capdenac railway lines. The station is served by Intercités de nuit (night train) and TER (local) services operated by SNCF. Decazeville ( oc, La Sala) is a commune in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region in southern France. The commune was created in the 19th century because of the Industrial Revolution and was named after the Duke of Decazes (1780–1860), the founder of the factory that created the town. Viviez-Decazeville station has rail connections to Brive-la-Gaillarde, Figeac and Rodez. History The town is built on coal. La Salle (the former name) produced coal since the 16th century. Aubin (; Languedocien: ''Aubinh'') is a commune in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie of southern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Aubinois''. Geography Aubin is located some 20 km south-east of Figeac and immediately south of Decazeville. Gare De Toulouse-Matabiau
Toulouse-Matabiau is the main railway station in Toulouse, southern France. It is in the city centre and connected to the Toulouse Metro. Aveyron (river)
The Aveyron (; oc, Avairon) is a 291 km long river in southern France, right tributary of the Tarn. It rises in the southern Massif Central, near Sévérac-le-Château. In 1855 evidence of prehistoric man was found near Bruniquel under a hill called Montastruc. The hill was 98 foot high. The account said the overhang extended for about 46 feet along the river and the area enclosed was 298 square yards.
