Lexington High School is the high school of Lexington Community Unit School District 7 in Lexington, Illinois. The high school usually enrolls 40 to 50 students in each of the 4 grade levels. Academics Some Heartland Community College classes are offered on campus for college prep students. Extracurricular activities Academic teams include Math Team and Scholastic Bowl. Campus Lexington High School's facilities are divided into four buildings. The Arts and Humanities Building contains most of the following departments: English, Social Studies, Fine and Performing Arts, and Physical Education. It also has the Donald J. Gillespie, Jr. Auditorium, the Ralph Lord Gymnasium, and a fieldhouse. Commons I and Commons II are used as cafeterias and meeting places. Lafayette County is a county in the western portion of Missouri, part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 33,381. Its county seat is Lexington.
