Lew Meehan
James Lew Meehan (September 7, 1890 – August 10, 1951) was an American film actor. Meehan appeared in more than 200 films between 1921 and 1947. He was often the main villain in silent Westerns, but in sound films he was usually an "anonymous henchman". Meehan was born in Minnesota and died in Los Angeles, California. Meehan's daughter, Jean Stratton, was an actress. Buddy Roosevelt
Buddy Roosevelt (born Kenneth Stanhope Sanderson; June 25, 1898 – October 6, 1973) was an American film and television actor and stunt performer from Hollywood's early silent film years through the 1950s. Biography Roosevelt was born as Kenneth Stanhope Sanderson in Meeker in Rio Blanco County in northwestern Colorado. He was an athlete and a cowboy in his youth. He started performing as a stuntman in 1916, his first work being on the film ''Hell's Hinges''. He continued working as a stuntman as well as an actor throughout his long Hollywood career. Roosevelt served in the United States Navy during World War I. Although it has been said that he served aboard the USS ''Norfolk'', and that it was sunk during that war, no record of a USS ''Norfolk'' being in service during World War I has been found. West Of Hot Dog
''West of Hot Dog'' is a 1924 American comedy film starring Stan Laurel. Plot Stan's stagecoach is robbed on his way to Hot Dog for the reading of his uncle's will. Every time he raises his hands his pants fall down. The robbers ride off and Stan tries to drive "Little Mustard" home. The stagecoach horses run off and the stagecoach stands still. The next day at the lawyer Jones's office, tenderfoot Stan learns that he inherits everything including a saloon. If he dies, the estate goes to the two outlaws who have thrown him out the second story window twice. Tenderfoot Stan goes to his saloon only to see a poker player shot and the place robbed. ''Lord Jim'' is a 1925 American silent drama film starring Percy Marmont (in the title role), Noah Beery, and Duke Kahanamoku. The film was directed by Victor Fleming and based on the 1900 novel ''Lord Jim'' by Joseph Conrad.
