Levon Altonian
Levon Aram Altounian ( ar, ليون ارام التونيان; 15 February 1936 – 6 September 2020) was a Lebanese Association football, footballer who played as a Midfielder#Winger, right winger or an midfielder, attacking midfielder. Altounian played his whole club career at Homenetmen, between 1952 and 1973, finishing as top scorer of the Lebanese Premier League twice: in 1962–63 Lebanese Premier League, 1962–63 and in 1966–67 Lebanese Premier League, 1966–67. Altounian also represented the Lebanon national football team, Lebanon national team, Captain (association football), captaining them to a third-place finish at the 1963 Arab Cup. Lebanon National Football Team
The Lebanon national football team,french: Équipe du Liban de football controlled by the Lebanese Football Association (LFA), have represented Lebanon in association football since their inception in 1933. The squad is governed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) continentally, and FIFA worldwide. While Lebanon have yet to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, they have qualified three times to the AFC Asian Cup: they first participated in 2000, when they hosted the event. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium (CCSC) ( ar, ملعب مدينة كميل شمعون الرياضية; french: Cité sportive Camille-Chamoun) is a multi-purpose stadium with a capacity of 49,500 seats, located in the Bir Hassan area of Beirut, Lebanon. The stadium, equipped with athletics facilities, is the largest in the country, and is mostly used for football matches. Joseph Nalbandian ( ar, جوزف نلبنديان; 1919 – after 1985) was a Lebanese football player and manager. During the 1930s and 1940s, Nalbandian played as a goalkeeper for DPHB, Hilmi-Sport, Sagesse, Homenetmen, and Nahda, at club level. He also represented Lebanon internationally. Nalbandian coached Homenetmen, from 1947 to 1972, and Lebanon, during the 1950s and 1960s. He was in the Regional Committee of Homenetmen between 1965 and 1971, and was General Secretary of the Lebanese Football Association between 1967 and 1985.
