Levine Center for the Arts on South Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina, includes Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. Gantt Center, Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center#Knight Theater, Knight Theater, and the Mint Museum#Mint Museum Uptown, Mint Museum Uptown. It was named for Leon Levine, whose foundation provided financing. Mario Botta (born 1 April 1943) is a Swiss architect. Career Botta designed his first building, a two-family house at Morbio Superiore in Ticino, at age 16. He graduated from the Università Iuav di Venezia (1969).
