Gim Allon
Gim Allon, also known as Colossal Boy, Leviathan, and Micro Lad, is a fictional character, fictional comic book superhero appearing in books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Jim Mooney, the character first appeared in ''Action Comics'' #267 (August 1960), and is a member of the 30th and 31st century superhero team, the Legion of Super-Heroes. He has gone by a variety of superhero names over the past several decades, although originally (and most commonly) Colossal Boy. The character's name's similarity to the standard Israeli surname Allon led writer Paul Levitz in 1980 to identify the character as Jewish. In the 1990s, the entirety of the Legion of Super-Heroes were changed in what was referred to as a "reboot" of those characters' continuity, including Allon. Leviathan (russian: Левиафан), also called the Leviathan Horde, is a fictional Soviet-based terrorist organization appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Leviathan first appeared in ''Secret Warriors'' #11 and was created by Jonathan Hickman and Stefano Caselli. Fictional organization history Little is known of this mysterious organization, save that it was born out of the Communist Bloc in the same way that Hydra was born out of the Axis powers, and that Leviathan brought 100,000 of the Eastern Bloc's finest Cold War agents to the facility known as Cold Storage, where the majority were placed in cryonic suspension until needed. Leviathan is a fictional criminal organization in DC Comics, later revealed to be a schism of the League of Assassins under the leadership of Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra's al Ghul. The organization appears in a different form in the fourth season finale and fifth season of ''Supergirl''. Leviathan (2000 AD)
''Leviathan'' is a horror comic series created by Ian Edginton and D'Israeli and, which appeared in the British magazine '' 2000 AD ''starting in 2003. The story is set on a mile-long ocean liner (the ''Leviathan'' of the title) which has been transported to some sort of parallel world with no land or landmarks. The story appeared in ten parts followed by three stand alone "Tales of the ''Leviathan''" which expanded on the history of the ship as well as featuring new characters. Characters * Detective Sergeant Aurelius Lament, a police officer investigating the mystery. ''Leviathan'' is a comic strip by Peter Blegvad, an American musician, singer-songwriter, and cartoonist. It appeared in the review section of the British newspaper ''The Independent on Sunday ''The Independent'' is a British online newspaper. It was established in 1986 as a national morning printed paper. Nicknamed the ''Indy'', it began as a broadsheet and changed to tabloid format in 2003. Gargantua (Edward Cobert) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Gargantua first appeared in '' The New Defenders'' #126 and was created by Alan Kupperberg and J.M. DeMatteis. Fictional character biography Edward Cobert started out as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and scientist working on an experiment called Project: Lazarus (also known as the Olympus Project). The project went horribly wrong when he tested it on himself, causing Edward to be stuck in giant-size with a greatly limited intelligence. He went on a rampage until he was subdued by S.H.I.E.L.D., and was dubbed Leviathan. However, he escaped S.H.I.E.L.D. custody and battled the Defenders who managed to subdue him.
