Leung Ting
Leung Ting (; born 28 February 1947) was a student of Leung Sheung and later become the last student of grandmasterYip Man. Leung Ting is the founder and president of the International Wing Tsun Association. Leung chose the spelling of Wing Tsun to differentiate his teachings from those of other Wing Chun schools, and to keep them from passing off their style as his own. (There is no standard romanization of Cantonese; the Chinese characters remain the same.) Among the achievements in his career outside of teaching and writing about Wing Tsun, Leung has been a fight director in some Hong Kong films. Leung was the director and screenwriter for ''It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Kung Fu World!'' (大踢爆), a humoristic documentary on the history and culture of kung fu. British Hong Kong
Hong Kong was a colony and later a dependent territory of the British Empire from 1841 to 1997, apart from a period of occupation under the Japanese Empire from 1941 to 1945 during the Pacific War. The colonial period began with the British occupation of Hong Kong Island in 1841, during the First Opium War between the British and the Qing dynasty. Ip Chun
Ip Chun (born Ip Hok-chun; 10 July 1924), also known as Yip Chun or Yip Jun, is a Chinese martial artist in the style of Wing Chun. He is the elder of two sons. Chun's father Ip Man was the Wing Chun teacher of Bruce Lee. Early life He was born Ip Hok-chun in Foshan, Guangdong on 10 July 1924 to police officer and martial artist Ip Man and his wife Cheung Wing-sing. In 1949, after the Communists established the People's Republic of China on the Chinese mainland, Ip's father left for Hong Kong and Ip, then 24, remained in Foshan to continue his studies in university. William Cheung
William Cheung or Cheung Cheuk-hing (張卓慶, pinyin: ''Zhāng Zhuóqìng'') (born October 10, 1940) is a Hong Kong Wing Chun kung fu practitioner and currently the Grandmaster of his lineage of Wing Chun, entitled Traditional Wing Chun (TWC). He also heads the sanctioning body of TWC, the Global Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Association (GTWCKFA). He is the recipient of a Masters Award for lifetime achievement in Kung Fu from Martial Arts Australia. Chris Crudelli is a martial artist, television presenter and author. He is best known as the host of BBC television programmes about the martial arts of far eastern countries, '' Mind, Body & Kick Ass Moves'', '' Kick Ass Miracles'', and '' Kick Ass in a Crisis'' all shown on BBC Three.
