''Less Is More'' is the debut studio album by Belgian DJ and record producer Lost Frequencies. It was released on 21 October 2016, by Lost & Cie under exclusive license to Armada Music and Ultra Music. The album was shortlisted by IMPALA (The Independent Music Companies Association) for the Album of the Year Award 2016, which rewards on a yearly basis the best album released on an independent European label. Singles " Are You with Me" was released as the first single on 26 January 2015. "Reality" (featuring Janieck Devy) was released as the second single on 24 May 2015. Lost Frequencies
Felix De Laet (born 30 November 1993), known by his stage name Lost Frequencies, is a Belgian DJ and record producer. He is best known for his singles "Are You with Me" in 2014, "Reality" in 2015, and " Where Are You Now" with Calum Scott in 2021. Background Name origin The name "Lost Frequencies" was first used when De Laet had used old songs, which he calls 'lost frequencies' to make remixes when he started the project. Deep House
Deep house is a subgenre of house music that originated in the 1980s, initially fusing elements of Chicago house with the lush chords of 1980s jazz-funk and touches of soul music. Its origins are attributed to the early recordings of Larry Heard (aka Mr. Fingers), including his influential track " Can You Feel It". Tropical House
Tropical house, also known as trop house, is a subgenre of house music, and a derivation of tropical music, with elements of dancehall and Balearic house. Artists of the genre are often featured at various summer festivals such as Tomorrowland. The genre was popularized by artists including Thomas Jack, Kygo, Matoma, Lost Frequencies, Seeb and Gryffin. ''Alive and Feeling Fine'' is the second studio album by Belgian DJ and record producer Lost Frequencies, succeeding his 2016 album '' Less Is More''. It was released on 4 October 2019 through Found Frequencies, Mostiko Records and Armada Music. It is composed of two parts, the first containing the seven tracks released by the DJ since his 2017 song "Crazy" and also new songs, while the second part primarily contains remixes.
