Less Bells
Less Bells is the stage name of Julie Carpenter, a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Joshua Tree, California. Prior to starting the Less Bells project, Carpenter worked with (performed, recorded, and/or composed) with The Autumns, Eels, Kenneth James Gibson, and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Carpenter signed with Kranky in 2018 and released ''Solifuge'', an album of electroacoustic music evoking the landscape of the Joshua Tree area. In an interview with RTE, Carpenter described her music as "Electro Orchestral soundtracks for alternate universe Jodorowsky films about heroic but doomed women". A sophomore follow-up for Kranky, ''Mourning Jewelry'', arrived in August 2020. |

The Autumns were an American indie rock band based in Los Angeles, California, comprising Matthew Kelly (vocals, guitar), Frankie Koroshec (guitar), Dustin Morgan (bass) and Steve Elkins (drums). Eels (often typeset as eels or EELS) is an American Rock music, rock band, formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1991 by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Oliver Everett, known by the stage name E. Kenneth James Gibson is a musician, record producer, composer, singer, songwriter and a founding member of Bell Gardens, Furry Things, Eight Frozen Modules, and endics.shuffle. Career Kenneth James Gibson was born in Canada, grew up in El Paso, Texas and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. The Brian Jonestown Massacre
The Brian Jonestown Massacre is an American musical project and band led and started by Anton Newcombe. It was formed in San Francisco in 1990. The group was the subject of the 2004 documentary film called '' Dig!'', and have gained media notoriety for their tumultuous working relationships as well as the erratic behavior of Newcombe. The collective has released 18 albums, five compilation albums, five live albums, 13 EPs, 18 singles as well as two various-artist compilation albums to date. The bandname is a ''portmanteau'' of deceased Rolling Stones founder Brian Jones and the 1978 Jonestown Massacre. Alejandro Jodorowsky Prullansky (; born 17 February 1929) is a Chilean-French avant-garde filmmaker. Best known for his 1970s films '' El Topo'' and '' The Holy Mountain'', Jodorowsky has been "venerated by cult cinema enthusiasts" for his work which "is filled with violently surreal images and a hybrid blend of mysticism and religious provocation".
