Lesli Guillermo Brea (born October 12, 1973) is a former Major League Baseball player. A right-handed relief pitcher, Brea is tall, and he weighed 170 pounds during his playing career. Some records list his year of birth as 1978, but this figure was subsequently found to be inaccurate. Baseball career Minor leagues In 1996, Brea began his professional career by signing with the Seattle Mariners as an undrafted free agent. He was 22 years old, but represented himself as a 17-year-old in order to secure a more favorable response from Mariners scouts. Baseball scouts are sometimes reluctant to sign older international players, since younger players are generally farther from their physical peak, and thus are perceived as having a comparatively higher ceiling to their future performance. Lesli Kay (born Lesli Kay Pushkin on June 13, 1965 in Charleston, West Virginia) is an American actress, who is known primarily for her roles on the CBS soap operas ''As the World Turns'' and ''The Bold and the Beautiful''. Career At age 12, she had the first individual girl's bat mitzvah in the state of West Virginia. She moved to New York City at the age of 15 to pursue a modeling career. Kay later worked at MTV and won $27,500 on ''Wheel of Fortune''. In 1997 she made her daytime debut as Molly Conlan on ''As the World Turns''. She is best known for her work on the AMC drama series ''Mad Men'' and the Showtime series ''Homeland'', for which she's received eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations. She's also received an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film nomination for ''Tales of Meeting and Parting'' (1985). Life and career Glatter was born in Dallas to Jewish parents.
